about me
I am originally from the US, but have been in Australia for almost 4 years. Before that I lived in New Zealand where I met my husband and started my family.
I have always taken photographs on and off since I was young, all through high school. If it wasn’t on my camera it would simply be on my phone. Creating beautiful things, exploring beautiful places. I have always and will always love that.
After I had my last baby I needed an outlet, to do something for myself, fuel my inner self. It wasn’t long until I had a camera back in my hands taking photos of family outings, family milestones, and somehow (thankfully) it turned into C&M Studio.
Photography truly is art. A way to evoke emotion, a way to take a part of your present and concrete it into your mind so you will never forget. I want to take what you feel and turn it into visual reality.
Telling your story through photographs gives me such joy. Your connection, your relationship, the way your partner looks at you with adoration, the way your child grabs your pointer finger, the moments that aren’t just “look at me and smile” (yes those are important too), but the moments that make you light up inside when you recall them again.
